Visa requirments

OTHER IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS (SOUTH AFRICA)

1. Two (recent) passport size photographs.
2. South African visa are issued on payment of a nominal fee.
3. Covering letter on letterhead about your Job/Business in Pakistan.
4. Copy of NIC card.
5. Bank statement of the applicant for last 6 months (Not Company).
6. Income Tax papers / Tax payment receipts for last three years.
7. Computer printout of confirmed return air ticket reservations.
8. Written statement confirming the purpose and duration of the visit on stamp paper (Original in English)
9. Confirm hotel booking to be faxed by the hotel in South Africa directly to the Mission & copy of the application. (Fax # +92 51 2250140)
10. All the previous passports.
11. Applicants can be requested to lodge a repatriation guarantee which will be refunded if the applicant complies with the conditions of the temporary residence permit.
12. Two sets of FEE DEPOSIT SLIP are required.
13. In respect of minor dependent. Children to accompany the applicant or joining the applicant in the RSA.
(I) in the case of a minor subject to guardianship or custody, proof of such guardianship and custody, or.
(II) In the case of an unaccompanied minor, consent from the guardian.

14. Expected processing time is 10 to 15 days.

15. An applicant for a visitors visa exceeding a period of three months shall in addition to the above submit:

o Marriage certificate in the case of a married applicant.
o Proof of a relationship as contemplated in regulation 3.
o A death certificate in the case of a widow applicant.
o A decree of divorce in the case of a divorced applicant and /or.
o Proof of legal separation in the case of a separated applicant.

An affidavit, substantially corresponding to form 12 contained in Annexure F, confirming any marital status or spousal relationship of the applicant and the particulars of any children born of such marriage or relationship.

16. In respect of a minor dependent child accompanying him or her to or joining him or her in the RSA.

o An unabridged birth certificate.
o In the case of an adopted minor, proof of adoption.
o In the case of a minor subject to guardianship or custody, proof of such guardianship and custody; and / or.
o In the case of an unaccompanied minor, consent from the guardian.




TOURISM

17. A copy of the travel plans and confirmed hotel reservation.
18. In the event that a South African family or company extends an invitation, the original letter of invitation on a letterhead and an affidavit signed / stamp by commissioner of Oath in RSA must be submitted with the application. Faxed copies will not be accepted.
19. Students traveling should proof their bonafides and also submit permission that they may be absent from School / College / University and
20. With regard to Airline sponsored visits, an accompanying letter stating the exact responsibilities of their staff members and / or dependents.

BUSINESS

21. An original letter of invitation or a fax sent to the SAHC from the South African Company.
22. A letter from Company / Employer giving details about applicants’ position in the company, purpose of the visit and period of stay. A brief profile of the company must be submitted; and
23. A recommendation letter from the Local Chamber of Commerce / Export Promotion Bureau.

TOURS

24. A copy of the itinerary.
25. A list of the tour group; and
26. Letter from the tour organizers.
